Making Woods Hole a wonderful place – for everyone.

Woods Hole Diversity Day

The science institutions in Woods Hole are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community. We want people from all cultures and all backgrounds to feel welcome in Woods Hole, whether they are visiting, spending a season as students, or spending part or all of their career working in the world famous village.

This site is sponsored by six Woods Hole science institutions. It is intended as a resource for visitors, students, employees – and for people who are considering becoming visitors, students, or employees.

We hope this site will answer your questions about living and working in the Woods Hole community and in the greater Falmouth area. If you have questions about the community or suggestions about how we can make this site more useful, please let us hear from you.

We believe that we must create 'pathways of opportunity' that will attract people from underrepresented groups by showing that the Woods Hole scientific and educational community has opportunities beginning with primary education and leading to higher education, post graduate work, research and lifetime careers, both in Woods Hole and in the global scientific community.
